Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our products and services. We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data throughout the business process, and we want you to feel safe when visiting our websites.

Hereafter you will learn what data is logged during your visit to our website and how it is used.

Personal data
Personal data is individual personal information on a certain person who may be identified, e.g., your complete name, your address, phone number and date of birth. Information which may not be linked with your true identity, e.g., favoured websites or numbers of users on a site, are not personal data.

Collection and processing of personal data
For the purpose of system security, our webserver temporarily saves the connection data of your com-puter, the websites that you visit, the date and duration of your visit, the ID of the browser and operat-ing system as well as the website from which you visit our site. Any other personal data, e.g., your name and address, your phone no. or e-mail address is not logged unless you enter these on a volun-tary basis, e.g., in the framework of registration, to sign a contract or to make a request for information.

Use and transfer of personal data
Personal data provided by you is exclusively used by us for the purpose of technical website admini-stration and to comply with your wishes and requests, i.e., usually to fulfil a contract concluded with you or to respond to your enquiry.

Only with your prior agreement or if you have not filed an objection – if legal provisions so require – will this data be used for product-related polls or for marketing purposes.

Your personal data will not be disclosed, sold or otherwise transmitted to third parties unless this is required for fulfilling the contract or if you have explicitly agreed with such transmission. For instance, it may be required that your address and order data is transmitted to our supplier in the event of an order for our products.

Use of cookies
We usually do not use cookies on our websites. Only in exceptional cases will so-called session cook-ies be used which store data for technical control in your browser memory. These are not personal data and they will be deleted when closing your browser at the latest.
If, as an exception, we have to store personal data in a cookie, we will ask for your explicit consent in advance. Furthermore, you should note that browsers usually offer functions to administer cookies.

Security
We take all possible technical and organisational safety measures so as to protect your personal data from loss or misuse. Your data is stored in a safe environment and it is not accessible to the public. In certain cases, your personal data will be encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). This means that communication between your computer and our servers is made using a recognized encrypting method if your browser supports SSL.

If you wish to send us an e-mail, please note that confidentiality of the transmitted information cannot be guaranteed. The contents of e-mails may be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that you send us confidential information only by mail. Data exchange (CAD data) can then be made using Odette.
