Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our products and services. We are eager to protect your personal data throughout the business process and we want you to feel safe when visiting our websites.

The following section explains what information is captured during your visit to our website and how it is used.

Personal data
Personal data includes details on personal or factual circumstances of an identifiable individual. This includes information such as your name, address, phone number and date of birth. Information which cannot be linked with your true identity, such as preferred websites or the number of users of a site are not considered personal data.

Personal data acquisition and processing

When visiting our websites, our server temporarily stores data for the purpose of system security, including connection data of the enquiring computer as well as details on which of our webpages you visit, the date and duration of the visit, identification data of the browser and operating system as well as the website which you visit before going to our website. Any additional personal information, including your name, address, phone number or e-mail address are not logged unless these are voluntarily provided by you, e.g., within the framework of registration, contract execution or information request.

Use and transfer of personal data

Any personal data provided by you is only used for technical website administration and for compliance with your requirements and requests, i.e., usually to handle a contract signed with you or to respond to your enquiry.

Only if you have given your prior approval or if you have not raised an objection as far as legally provided will we use this data for product-related studies and marketing purposes.

Your data will not be transferred, sold or otherwise provided to third parties unless this is required for the purpose of handling the contract and you have given your explicit approval. For instance, it may be required that when ordering products, we transfer your address and order data to our suppliers.

Use of cookies
Usually we do not use cookies on our website. Only in exceptional cases are so-called session cookies used, which store data for technical session control in the storage of your browser. This data is person-related and is deleted at the latest when your browser is cleared.

If, in exceptional cases, we have to store personal data in a cookie, we will seek your prior approval. Furthermore, please note that browsers generally feature functions for cookie management.

Security
We take all necessary technical and organizational safety measures to protect your personal data from loss or misuse. For this purpose, your data is stored in a safe operating environment, which is not accessible to the public. In certain cases your personal data is encrypted as it is transferred, using so-called Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). This means that communication between your computer and our servers is made using an accepted encrypting process, provided that your browser supports SSL.

If you wish to contact us via e-mail, please note that the confidentiality of transmitted information cannot be ensured. The content of e-mails may be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that you submit any confidential information exclusively via regular mail. Data exchange (CAD data) may be made using Odette.

Upon receipt of your enquiry in writing, we will inform you which personal data has been stored about you (e.g., name, address).
