Extra fast. Extra dynamic. The speed-optimized components of our SpeedCell mean a true revolution in spot-welding for the automotive industry. The new compact FANUC R-1000iA, together with LEWA Attendorn’s matching, newly developed first-ever lightweight, medium-frequency servo tongues known as “SpeedGun” are the core of our system solution. With minimum space requirements, much shorter cycle times and clearly reduced process costs are achieved while energy consumption remains the same. We achieve space savings of 20% and cycle time reductions of 20%-30% (depending on the component) compared with conventional technology. To visualize the potential benefits, we realized one process based on conventional technology and the same process using SpeedCell and compared the outcome. See for yourself in our video stream.
