Switch cabinet construction

LEWA’s switch cabinet construction division ensures that projects are planned and implemented within the agreed deadline. Our long-standing expertise in working with all common bus systems including Profibus, Interbus, Device-Net and CAN-Bus allows for swift and holistic machine integration.

Visualization/PLC

Furthermore, we can programme all common PLC controls and visualization systems.

Robot programming

For mobile applications, we use robots made by ABB, Fanuc, Kuka or Motoman. Our development team is experienced in programming all types of robots and can handle even the most complex tasks: The synchronisation of demanding applications involving a large number of robots, sophisticated operational settings or specific communication requirements, including external devices such as cameras, are all challenges that we happily address for you.

What is more, servo axis modules for handling are also part of our standard repertoire.

Software and databases

Component and machine parameters can be logged into machine-specific database applications. This offers you ample opportunities for analyses and statistics so as to enhance your processes. If you have any other specific requirements, please contact our proficient software experts.

LEWA staff are able to take care of complete software development for these applications, including commissioning and after sales service. Our customers therefore have a point of contact at LEWA and need not be referred to external suppliers.

To enhance our service to our customers, at LEWA we invest in R&D. For instance, we contributed to the joint “VERA PRO” project. This project was financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and supported by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. It developed a system for production system uptime management. It was realized based on an in-process, rule-based status information system.
