Metal dresser

Metal dressers combine parts to form equipment or machines, for instance by welding, soldering or riveting. They know how to process metal in order to comply with the applicable specification (such as water tightness, heat resistance, etc.). They handle components with great ability. They work in production and repair workshops.

Prerequisites:

  • Candidates should possess a secondary education certificate, have technical understanding, be skilful and enjoy doing reliable work in a team

Duration of training:

  • 2 years

Career perspectives:

  • Qualified continuing education, foreman, engineer for supply engineering/machine technology, following attendance at a technical secondary school and graduating from university with a degree in engineering
