IT Officers mainly work with information and communication technology and can be found in all branches of industry, including trade, banking and insurance as well as telecommunications. They work in IT departments or in specialist departments (e.g., logistics, marketing), mainly using workstations.
Prerequisites:
- Candidates should possess a qualification at GCSE level, have excellent written German, be flexible, have an open-minded approach to people and strong organizational skills
Duration of training:
- 3 years, intermediate exams in the middle of the 2nd year
Career perspectives:
- Trainer, business economist, marketing expert, management, accountant, following attendance at a technical secondary school and gaining an MBA from university
